Job Description

Key Competencies:

Experience in Large projects 250m and above. Projects include Aviation, Hospitality, Hospitals, Stadiums and Large Complex Commercial enterprises.

 

 

 

General Job Description:

 

  • Manage all field operations for large commercial projects Large project experience preferred (greater than $200m)

 

 

  • Act as single point of responsibility to deliver field operations on site for a single large project (greater than $200m) OR manage multiple project sites

 

 

  • Provide leadership to implement the Company Safety

 

 

  • Work with the Operations Manager for all assignment of Superintendent

 

 

  • Assign and coordinate all trade field assignments with the needs of the various projects

 

 

  • Support multiple Superintendents throughout the duration of the job

 

 

  • Create and implement the Project Schedule

 

  • Create and implement the Site Logistics Plan

 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of ten years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as a Lead or General Superintendent for a large general contractor. Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including P6, Microsoft Office suite. SAP, SharePoint. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to travel 50%+ of the time.
